ABOUT THE CONFERENCES

 

The Department of  Tourism and Hotel Management, North-Eastern Hill University has successfully organized the following three International conferences:

1. Two day International Conference on Advancement in Tourism in Hospitality Marketing (ATHMCON-2016) on May 17 and 18, 2016 with the support of North- Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Indian Council of Social Science Research North Eastern Regional Centre (ICSSR-NERC) and The Meghalaya Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. The conference was attended by a total of 70 delegates from across the country.

 

2. Three day International Conference on Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality Marketing: Setting Agenda for Future Research (STHMCON - 2018) on March 15, 16 and 17, 2018 in the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong with the support of Ministry of Tourism (GOI), North- Eastern Hill University, Shillong and Indian Council of Social Science Research North Eastern Regional Centre (ICSSR-NERC). The conference was attended by a total of 170 national and 5 International participants.

3. Three-day Global Hospitality and Tourism Conference – 2020 on Experiential Management and Marketing (GHTC-2020) on March 18, 19, and 20, 2021 in the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism (GOI), North- Eastern Council, North- Eastern Hill University, Shillong and Indian Council of Social Science Research North Eastern Regional Centre (ICSSR-NERC).
